In close cooperation with the municipality of Veldhoven, Visser Bouwman architects and BPD, our office was charged with approximately half of the designs as a start to the realization of a new village district in Veldhoven, Huysackers. The urban design of this sustainable and green neighborhood as one of the expansion areas of the municipality is that of an organically grown Brabant hamlet. A stand-alone community with a central space in the form of a monastery, a village pub, a factory and homes for several distinguished citizens. A village grows between these anchors.
